On a bright and sunny day on the planet Orincus Orca, there was a girl named Kieko VonMoo. Across the galaxy there was another planet called Tursiops Truncatus, which lived another girl named Flipper McQuack. Today was a day of war, between Orincus Orca and Tursiops Truncatus. Orincus Orca means "killer whale" and Tursiops Truncatus means "bottlenose dolphin". As both planets were getting destroyed Kieko and Flipper's Parents made them flee from their home planet so that way they wont get killed. Their parents put them in a tiny UFO and put it on autopilot. The UFOs landed on Earth, and since Kieko and Flipper's Parents didn't know that they both sent a girl to Earth, the UFOs were destined for different parts of the Earth but to the parents surprise both girls were to be landed somewhere in California. Both girls landed on Earth just in different areas. Kieko had landed in Sacramento and Flipper landed in Rosamond. They both were adopted right away. And the adopted parents thought they had adopted a human girl. Though Kieko and Flipper knew that they were aliens they both chose not to share this secret with anyone in the world.
A few years went by and the time is now 1993. Both girls were in the 9th grade. During the second semester of Rosamond High School a girl walked into Flippers PE class. The teacher had said that her name was Kieko and then Kieko commented that she was from Sacramento. For the first time Kieko and Flipper had met face to face. They soon started talking to each other and they found out that they were familiar in so many ways it was unbelievable. They found out that they weren't from Earth but another planet. Later they realized that their planets were enemies but that didn't stop them from becoming friends, best friends. They finished their freshman year of school and the summer soon came. During the summer of 1993 Kieko and Flipper didn't really spend that much time together. On some days they did such as their birthday parties. A freaky coincidence that the two girls realized was their birth dates. Kieko was born on July 15, but was suppose to be born on July 5 and Flipper was born on July 5. The girls were suppose to be born on the very same day but Kieko was late so they weren't so only 10 days separated them. The summer drew longer and shorter as the days flew past them. It was now the first day of their 10th grade year of high school.
Both girls entered Rosamond High and they went to receive their schedule for their classes. They had the periods 5, 6, and 7 together. They had lots of fun in their classes together especially period 5, which was Spanish. Every day they would sit and giggle about weird stuff. One of their ideas was to join an own band, but no one liked them because the girls were just too weird for them. So they decided to start their own band. Kieko and Flipper were so happy, but they couldn't figure out a name for it. Soon after the Kieko blurted out, "What about the Homicidal Bobsy Twins" Flipper agreed to that name so from then on the girls were known as The Homicidal Bobsy Twins. Now their next problem was to figure out what instruments to play. The following day Flipper took Kieko to an ice skating rink and on they way home they stopped at a McDonalds. The girls ordered their food and started to eat their hamburgers and fries. After they were done they had leftover mayonnaise and ketchup packets. Kieko picked up the mayonnaise packet and started to squeeze it the packet made a real funny sound, which made the girls laugh. Flipper suggested that they play the mayonnaise and the ketchup packet for their instruments. So it was settled the instruments that the girls were gonna play is the mayonnaise and the ketchup packet. When they went back to school the girls played their instruments, but everyone just laughed in their face. Kieko and Flipper didn't care cause they knew one day they would make it big with their band.
The next thing they need to get the band official is a song. A song that they could call their own. A couple of days later Flipper was at Kieko house trying to write a song for their band. The time was about 3 am in the morning when Kieko and Flipper played their packets to get an idea on what to rite for their on song. No ideas came to them that night or should we say morning. The next Day Flipper had gone to a Cookie Rally. She had won 5 plastic pencil toppers, which a dolphin, 2 whales, a seal, and a turtle. Flipper named them Quack (the dolphin), Moo (a whale), Ribbit (the other whale), Dart (the turtle) and Barkmeow (the seal). In school the following Monday, Kieko had moo and Flipper had quack in their Spanish class. Kieko started shouting, "Moo Rules!" and then Flipper started shouting, "Quack Rules!" After that Kieko just said off the top of her head, "Quack Away From the Moo!" So that became Kieko's and Flipper's saying. Well they were back at Kieko's house on a Saturday morning and that as when they had finally came up with their first song.
They soon found a really nifty title to name their song. The title would be The Dysfunctional Plastic Pencil Toppers. Then both girls at the same time said, yes! Then that night around 9:25 p.m. Kieko turned on the radio to 97.7 fm and their favorite show was on the air. It was the Saturday Night Side Show with Reid and Clay. This is where the DJs acted like idiots and make prank calls, crack stupid jokes, and just have fun on the air. Well Reid and Clay happened to like Keiko because she would call in every Sat. to talk to them. As Kieko and Flipper listened they got an idea, they had their new song tuned and perfected. So they thought they should call in and see if Reid and Clay would put their song on the air. The girls called in and Clay easily agreed to put their song on the air, so the girls did. They sung their song so perfect and they were so happy to be on the radio so everyone can hear their wonderful song. Afterwards, Reid and Clay said that their song as just too weird for them and that the girls were never to call back again. Well the girls got mad and hung up then put in Dookie by Green Day, then they finally fell asleep.
In school the next day everyone had heard their song on the radio and they said that they thought it was cool which had made Kieko and Flipper extremely happy. A few weeks later they had written a couple of more songs for their band. One day in choir class the Choir Teacher Mr. Cheng had made them sing this song called "Children of the Earth". It as a nice song until Mr. Cheng made them sing it over and over and over again. Soon Mr. Cheng made them sing it so much that Kieko and Flipper got annoyed with it. Then finally the bell rang and they went off to lunch to talk to their friends. Soon the lunch ended and both girls were off to Algebra class.
They walked into the class and a kid named Josh was sitting right by them. During that class Kieko and Flipper started to talk to Josh and Heather who also happened to be sitting by them as well. Kieko and Flipper wanted to pull a joke so Flipper said, "When I die... I want to go through a blender." Then Kieko just had to add to it and then she said, "When I die... I want to go through a blender then a washing machine." The joke lasted all period and at the final minute of class the Kieko and Flipper had planned their death to be going through a blender, then a roller, then folded up into a paper airplane, then flown across the ocean, then a fish would come and eat the paper, then a shark would eat the fish, then a person would capture the shark and eat it. So basically they were to be ate by humans. After the had said this Josh and Heather got a really bizarre look on there face then they got up and moved far away from them as possible. Kieko and Flipper looked around the area and they noticed that all the desks were empty. No one had wanted to sit by them because there were just so weird to be around. Then they decided to call that a Gina, clearing the room all around you. They had fun with their new joke and they started to pull Gina's more and more. Soon a Gina got boring and they needed a new joke. Soon after another guy named Josh who was already their friend started to fling his pencil across the room for no reason at all or just by accident. Of course they named that joke Joshing. All during class they were joshing and pulling Gina's. Soon after that they discovered another unusual joke. Flinging calculators across the room. They named that joke a Lori. Well after those incident people thought they were stranger than strange and some people even got scared. But the girls didn't care and they kept on pulling their jokes and they always laughed hysterically. People didn't understand them, but Kieko and Flipper just didn't care. Well on this Saturday Kieko and Flipper wanted a long song, like a normal and regular song. So that day they came up with this: Children of the Chairs Chorus: Children of the Chairs cry out, children of the chairs cry out. Daughters of the lake and kitchen utensil, Sons of a swimming pool, swimming pool. Listen to Moo, listen to the quack, Ribbit remembers. Oh my people can you spit, oh my people can you snore, oh my people can you eat the landlord, lets eat the landlord. Children of the chairs. Bridge: We were born to kill the chickens on our Spanish class. We grew as pillows for all bed sheets. They had made up two more verses of their song and had it tuned and perfected. Flipper and Kieko always sang their brand new song. People didn't like their song one bit, everyone thought that it was way too bizarre for them One day when their algebra teacher was teaching square roots. There was this kid named J.D. who answered every question with "times it by the square root of three". After the 10th time Kieko and Flipper started to get annoyed once again, which isn't a good thing. Well after class Kieko and Flipper went around school yelling "times it by the square root of three". That became their newest joke and all day people once again gave the girls odd looks as they went on their way.
The girls wanted to sing their new song on the radio but Reid and Clay had banned them from the radio there was no way to. Kieko had talked to Reid and Clay earlier on Saturday and convinced them to let them talk on the radio they just couldn't play any more songs on it. Kieko was very happy so she called Flipper to tell her that they can call up and talk to Reid and Clay on the Side Show. So Kieko and Flipper talked on the radio almost everyday.
They went to their usual sport and though about forming a country they could call their own. That day, the girls got an idea they were going to form their own country. First they found the land and then Kieko and Flipper drew up a land contract and had every member sign it so the land was official. At the bottom they even had the principal sign the contract to make it official. They found the land was at Rosamond High School and they marked it out right by the Library. Now only the needed a name for it so they decided to call it The Hole. The Hole seemed like a great name cause it was literally in a hole and secluded from the whole entire school. They wouldn't have any idea what happened during in the middle of the school and everything that surrounds the area in the school. Only a selected people can join the Hole and Kieko and Flipper must approve them. Flipper and Kieko became the joint presidents of the Hole then they selected the remaining officers in the Hole. If someone were to go up to inside the borders without permission Kieko and Flipper would attack them with sporks. The sporks are the almighty weapon in the Hole. In their country everyone must worship the sporks . There 15 member in the Hole they were: Kieko, Flipper, Josh, Christina, Kristel, Erin, Richard, Amanda, Matt, Neil, Brandy, Kristine, Gabe and Levi.
So Kieko had their band, many songs, and a country. They were happy with this. Well one day a kid named Curtis always walked in a circle around the school in the morning. That's all he would do is walk in a circle around the school. Well Kieko and Flipper called him Lloyd and wrote a song about it and it went like this: "My name is Lloyd, Lloyd, Lloyd, and I'm stuck in a void" (repeat forever).
So when Lloyd walked by the Hole Kieko and Flipper sang their song. Curtis was now an honorable member of the Hole. Then the next day Kieko and Flipper went to school and found out their outfit for their band. They came up with black shoes, white socks, white jeans, blue pocket T-shirt, a soul stealer necklace, a blue and white cross necklace, and pink, purple, and teal bobbles in their hair worn in a half ponytail. They wore their Homicidal Bobsy Twins uniform to school. People knew they dressed alike on purpose but they still believe those two girls were very strange. Their Spanish Teacher thought that Flipper and Kieko were very unique and liked the two girls regardless of what others thought. In a few days the girls accidentally dressed alike they both wore blue jeans and a red sweater. Everyone assumed the girls dressed alike on purpose but Kieko and Flipper tried to explain to everyone that they didn't. No one believed them. Everyone thought that the girls were just lying to get attention. Well about once a month Kieko and Flipper wore the same outfit and everyone still thinks that it's on purpose. Since the girls were aliens they believed that they could talk to each other through their minds instead of talking. So when they dressed alike the girls told everyone the truth that the aliens told us to dress this way. So they told everyone that the alien voices in their heads told them to dress alike. The Hole members thought that them two were very mental and crazy but they were still cool to them. Kieko and Flipper didn't do anything cause they knew that no one except them knew the truth about the real Kieko and Flipper.
There was this group of kids in the girl's geometry class who were very stupid. So Kieko and Flipper started calling them the Meathead Club. They went around school calling these select kids the Meathead Club. The people involved in the Meathead Club didn't think that they were in it, but no one cared as long as Flipper and Kieko had there fun. Soon that joke got old as well, and they needed new targets to pick on. The next day when Gabe and Levi were walking through the high school it was like you couldn't get in the middle of them. They had this exact amount of space between them, so Flipper and Kieko decided to call it the Yarbough Yarn. It was this invisible string attacked to both guys to make sure they never got separated. Kieko tried to walk through them and as soon as she did, she make a "boingee" sound. So the next day when Gabe and Levi walked through the school, Keiko went between them and made her sound "boingee". Flipper sat there and laughed hard. Kieko tried to cut the Yarbrough Yarn, but it was too strong.
Well the next day Flipper came up and asked what Keiko was doing and Kieko replied "I'm working on my book." So Flipper walked off and went to the other Hole members to see what they were doing. Then all of a sudden Flipper noticed this small hole in one of the Hole's walls. Flipper got this spork from her backpack and started to dig in that hole she saw. She started to take off the top layer of paint then the other members looked at her. They just gave her this 'I don't want to know what your doing' look and then Flipper noticed the look and then said, "I'm gunna find a dead body in here... and I'm gunna keep diggin till I find one... The secret to Rosamond High" as she laughed afterwards. The other members responded with their typical response... 'Cool'. The bell rang and everyone was off to class, then soon enough it was lunch time.
As everyone flocked to the Hole for lunch Kieko and Flipper had just recently made up a new song for their album. They has killed Home on the Range and the song went something like this: "Home, Home in the Hole, Where the idiots and weirdoes roam. Where Kieko VonMoo and Flipper McQuack killed the chicken all day" During the lunch period the girls sang their new song of course just to annoy the students with a new song by the girls. Killing the chicken has a purpose. During their Spanish class there was a piñata that looked like a chicken. It happened to be one of their friends and well Kieko and Flipper went around making fun of it and then all day the just went off by saying 'Kill the Chicken, Kill the Chicken'. Soon after Kieko and Flipper added their new song in the ole mighty songbook.
Kieko was sitting at the hole like she usually does and then Flipper came and join her soon after. Kieko starting to write in her novel and then Flipper went back to her digging site at the Hole. Out of nowhere they both starting humming Home in the Hole when they noticed Flippers cousin was starting walking toward them. Jon, Flipper's cousin, was in the 9th grade and always followed Flipper's adoptive brother Gary. When Gary didn't show up to school Jon was lost and didn't know where to go. Kieko started to call Jon 'A Gary wanna-be' and Flipper just plain out called him 'Tag-A-Long'. After a few weeks Tag-A-Long stuck so they called him Tag-A-Long. Whenever the girls saw Jon walking they started chanting: (softly) Tag-A-Long (normally) Tag-A-Long (screaming) Tag-A-Long. Jon got used to his new name after awhile so when he saw the girls he just walked by, shook his head, and walked off like he just ignored them. So well after Jon started to do that Kieko and Flipper got bored with it so once in a blue moon they would do the official Tag-A-Long chant. The next day Flipper came home to a surprise, her aunt had gotten two tickets to a Mighty Ducks Hockey Game. Flipper was jumping with excitement because she loved the game of hockey. It was a Mighty Ducks vs. Stars game. Flipper couldn't wait till Saturday when the game began. At school Flipper went around telling everyone the good news that she's going to a hockey game on Saturday. The 3 days till Saturday went by very slowly but it was eventually Saturday. Flipper was so happy as her and her aunt walked into the Arrowhead Pond. First of all they went to the gift shop where her aunt bought her the complete team set of trading cards. Then they walked into the arena and found their seats and sat down.
All of a sudden the lights went out. A bunch of lasers of all colors came in the stadium and shone on the walls. Before the game started there was a huge laser show and then right before Flipper's eyes the mascot Wild Wing flew on the ice by a cord on the ceiling of the stadium. Then a lady came on and sang the Star Spangled Banner. Then the announcer started announcing the players and both teams were on the ice skating in a circle. Flipper stood up and started cheering up very loudly for her team, the Ducks. The game started and Flipper's eyes grew open as she watched closely. The referee blew his whistle and the game started. In the first period the Stars did score one point in which Flipper booed very loudly. The first Intermission had begun. Flipper got up and brought back some nachos and started to eat them. As she watched the intermission show which was some little kids figure skating around. Then the announcer came back to start the 2nd Period of the game. The 2nd quarter starting and then it happened... the Ducks scored! Flipper stood up quickly and cheered and cheered for her team as she was very happy that they scored. But then the Stars had scored 2 other goals to make the score at the end of the 2nd period Stars: 3 Ducks: 1. Flipper was sad but she was still happy that the Ducks had scored. Second intermission started and then that show came on which was little kids playing a championship game. After the little kids played their game it was time to get back to the Ducks game in which Flipper hoped that the Ducks would come back and win the game from behind. The 3rd period had started and then it happened again, the Ducks scored once again. Flipper face had a huge smile on it as she was yelling from the stands GO DUCKS! Then there was a pause of no one scoring then one team had scored. To Flipper disappointment the Stars had scored and that ended the game in which the final score was Stars: 4 Ducks: 2. Flipper was upset that the Ducks had lost but she didn't care she was happy to be there to watch the game in person and to see at least the Ducks scored 2 goals.
On school the next game Flipper told everyone about the game even though her team lost she was very happy since that was her first game that she went to. School became boring because it was finals week... the end of the school year. Flipper and Kieko couldn't believe that their second year in high school was already over. But the girls were happy because they had a whole summer ahead of them. During the summer Flipper got a lamb in which she named it Lucky. Flipper loved Lucky and worked with her so she can show Lucky at the fair in Aug. so she continued to work with her lamb. Then Flipper went to a camp for 2 weeks. Flipper enjoyed the camp very much and one time all the campers raided the fridge and took out the ice cream and had a huge ice cream party at 12am. It was a blast. After the party they took toilet paper and through it all over the mess hall and they also toilet papered the head person's car. It was funny to see the area decorated with toilet paper. Then they all went canoeing on Big Bear Lake. They had a race with the canoes and Flipper's team had won. They were all so happy. Then it was time to board back on the bus to go home. So they board up and she returned home after the funniest two weeks of her summer break.
It was now July 5, Flipper's Birthday. Flipper was now 16 and then quickly afterwards Kieko turned 16 and the girls threw a party together which was fun. And then days went by and the summer ended. It was time to start up school again, and now they were juniors, the almost seniors. Flipper of course still had her lamb for the fair in which she had to miss the first week of school, but it was excused so it didn't count like if she was really missing school. It was officially the first day of school now.
Well it was fair time, the first week of school. Kieko kept up the whole while Flipper was at the fair showing her lamb. Flipper had to get up at 5 am every morning to go to the fair to fed her lamb and walk it and give it a bath. The following day Flipper sheared the rough patches of wool off her lamb and made Lucky beautiful. It was now time to enter the arena to get Lucky judge. Flipper acted like a pro and walked Lucky in without the halter and lined up with all the other lambs in there. They started to circle around and Lucky started to act up so Flipper tired to control her and to get Lucky to behave in the arena. They lined up and the judge walked up to every lamb as he checked for the muscle in all the lambs. The judge placed Lucky in the group 2 lambs, which were good, not great, but good. Flipper was proud and walked Lucky out of the arena.
It was now time for the showmanship placing, so early that morning Flipper arrived at the fair to fed, walk, and wash her lamb. Flipper took off Lucky's halter soon and then walked once again like a pro into the arena. She repeated the events from the previous event. Then it was time to give out the ribbons for showmanship. The judged handed Flipper a 6th place ribbon for her showmanship. Flipper was very happy to receive an award. Then it was soon to get Lucky auctioned off, so she walked Lucky into the little booth as other people bided on her lamb. A.V. Rubbish bought her lamb for 3.00 a pound. The fair was now over and Flipper had to return to school and to find out her schedule to see if her and Kieko had any classes together.
Flipper got her schedule and it turned out they had Geometry and Spanish together. Flipper returned to her home in the hole. She was so happy to see the Hole after her whole summer. It was a reunion. Everyone flocked back to the Hole and the Hole recruited some new members and it was a growing country. Flipper and Kieko went camping that weekend to Cabrillo Beach.
Everyone arrived at Cabrillo and Flipper and Kieko came into the idea that it might be a boring trip but then they realized that they never make something boring, they always entertain themselves. They set up their tents and then settled in and then at the same time both girls turned their heads and stared for awhile smiling. Across the way there were two guys that caught their eye. And these 2 guys were worth looking at. Kieko was determined to find out their names so Kieko and Flipper went on a sneaky mission to figure out these guys' names. Eventually Kieko found out that their names were Daniel and Damion. And it worked out great because Kieko liked Daniel more and Flipper liked Damion more so they girls were camping happily. Next day they went windsurfing. Kieko and Flipper and another friend named Amanda joined them. First they had to sit through an instructor to know how to windsurf. Amanda had also found a guy that she liked whose name was Will. After the instructions it was time to go windsurfing for the first time. After awhile Kieko gave Amanda a nickname which was Lambert. Flipper became the brave one and went first... about a minute later Flipper fell off the board and into the water and they all laughed. Then Kieko went and then Lambert and all of them fell many times. Then once Flipper was holding the rope and Kieko was attempting to get the hang of windsurfing. Kieko got it and she start to actually windsurf and then the instructor blew his whistle because she had gone out too far. So Kieko was yelling at Flipper to pull her in when Flipper realized that she had let go of the rope and had to swim out there to fetch Kieko who was quickly floating away. It was a good thing Flipper was a good swimmer and then she swam fast and got the rope then pulled in Kieko back on the shore and they all laughed hard. The instructor wasn't too happy with what they did. But as always the girls didn't care.
On the next day the girls went swimming in the pool and then all these guys came including Will, Daniel, and Damion. The girls got all happy. The guys were having this diving board jump off and Kieko and Flipper thought it would be funny if they gave all the guys nicknames so they did. Some of the names were Clipboard man, Buzzhead and Scout Master Flem. Then afterwards Keiko and Flipper noticed something about Will, he re-tied his shoelaces and fixed his pants every five steps. Kieko and Flipper laughed at that and they quickly came up with this motion which looked like what Will was doing. Whenever they saw Will they would make there motion and Will would get all red and walk quickly off.
A camping fire program happened that night and everyone at the campground was doing these skits and songs and having a great ole time. Will had came on stage to perform a skit and well right in the middle of it Kieko and Flipper got an idea. The next thing you know was that those two girls were smiling and about to carry out their plan. Kieko and Flipper stood up and did the motion when Will saw them. Will got really red and had gone off the stage in such a hurry then Kieko and Flipper busted up laughing so hard. The program ended and everyone went back to the tents to sleep and the night had ended.
The next morning they had came up with a song that related to their guys and they called it Follow 220: Go Ahead and Follow, Follow, Follow Go Ahead and Follow, Follow Him To the Bathroom, To the Bathroom To the Bathroom, To watch them change. They like their new song and sang it everywhere especially when they saw Daniel and Damion. Today also happened to be the last day that the girls were gunna stay here. So they all went to the pool including all the guys. But before that they had gone canoeing and Kieko and Flipper wanted a picture of them. So they followed Daniel and Damion done to the shore and Flipper got her camera out and got it set up and started to take a picture of the guys. Well Buzzhead saw the girls and told Damion that they were taking a picture of him and the Flipper saw that and did a complete 180° turn and acted like she was taking a picture of the campground. Kieko cracked up laughing extremely hard and at the same time trying to say "That was a good one Flip." Then she turned back and took pictures of all the guys. Their mission was complete. Now they were swimming in the pool on the last day of the camping trip. Everyone was swimming and diving off the board and having fun. The guys were diving and Flipper and Kieko thought it would be funny to give the guys scores as they went off the boards. If Will, Damion, or Daniel jumped off they would scream out an automatic 10, but if anyone else did they gave that person a real score depending on how good the jump or dive was. Then sadly it was time to go and they packed up all their camping stuff and got in the car and drive back home.
